Building Your Dalamar Home
Dalamar Homes is by your side during the rewarding process of building your custom home in Nashville, TN. You will know the status of your home regularly; our Client Service Specialist will send updates through your customer portal and answer any questions you may have.
AFTER THE CONTRACT
After the purchase agreement is signed, it’s time to start on your floor plan. During your Structural Meeting, you will decide on how you will structurally customize your home. Our drafting team will then draw your plans accordingly. Fun fact? Every single one of our custom homes is site-specifically engineered. Your home is drawn for your lot, ensuring structural integrity.
SELECTIONS APPOINTMENT
Once your floorplans are complete, you will move on to the selection process. Work with our designer to choose colors, interior and exterior finishes, and any custom details you’d like to personalize your home with.
AUDIO VISUAL SELECTIONS APPOINTMENT
Meet with the sound and media company to customize your home entertainment experience. Choose a system as simple or complex as you want -perfect for a movie night or watching the game. Once you've made all the big decisions, it is time to head on-site.
ON-SITE PRE-CONSTRUCTION ORIENTATION
Meet and greet with your Project Manager and Sales Agent. Here they will walk you through the steps taken to deliver your home. At this time, your Project Manager will discuss the foundation, framing, and mechanical stages. Once these stages are complete, you will walk your home in the Pre-Drywall Orientation.
ON-SITE PRE-DRYWALL ORIENTATION
Walk your home to see the status before drywall is installed. Bring a Sharpie! Our customers love to write meaningful messages on the studs of their home. Your drywall stage will now begin; which is followed by flooring, trim, paint, and finishes.
CLOSING LETTER
Start Packing! Dalamar will notify you when your home is approximately 30-45 days out from completion, detailing the closing process and contact information for your First Final Home Orientation.
FINAL HOME ORIENTATION
We want to ensure your home is complete to your liking; for that reason, we have two home orientations. During the First Final Home Orientation, you will walk your home with Dalamar team members to identify corrective items and discuss our warranty process. Your Final Home Orientation will be your last walk-through of your brand new home! We will discuss completed items and items that will be completed after closing. We will now set a closing date!
